Tea and Talk 3pm – 5pm Saturday 11th May
So much is undiscovered under our world’s oceans and yet we continue to pollute and destroy it and it’s inhabitants. In conjunction with World Oceans Day on 8th June 2013 ‘Catch the wave’ encouraged others to participate globally with protecting our world’s oceans from desecration and reigniting awareness of this critical part of our biosphere.
The exhibition looked carefully at our interactions with our ocean and promoted increased understanding of the essential role our oceans play to food security, powering of our climate and the health of all life.
‘Catch the Wave’ bought viewers awareness to this valuable resource that accounts for about 70% of the Earths surface and the importance of protecting it for our children’s children and beyond.
